Take a Tour of Our Davenport Pet Boarding Kennel

Pet boarding

Animal Family Veterinary Care Center is very proud of the pet care provided in our clean and comfortable pet boarding facility. Our goal is to treat your pets as if they were our own.

As a guest of Animal Family Veterinary Care Center, your dog will be walked three times each day in an enclosed grassy exercise area. Older pets or those with incontinence issues may be walked more frequently on request. If your family has more than one pet staying with us, we can board them together in one of our larger kennels.

Feeding is scheduled twice a day unless otherwise requested. Your pet may dine on our easy-to-digest fare or a food brought from home. Animal Family Veterinary Care Center provides clean water around the clock. If your pet pal is accustomed to treats or needs medication, we will take care of that, too. We closely monitor pets with special needs and our veterinary staff will examine them if necessary. Remember that even though the office may be closed the Animal Family Veterinary Care Center, kennel staff is still here caring for your pet just as they would during normal business hours.

A Condo for Your Kitty

Cats have special needs. The spacious two-room kitty condos at Animal Family Veterinary Care Center were designed with that in mind. There is an area for sleeping and another area for the cat box and food. The condos are placed apart from the hubbub of the kennels, but near the Animal Family Veterinary Care Center lobby area to provide plenty of interesting activity that will keep your kitty from becoming bored. The reviews of our kitty condos have been Purr-fect.

Frequent Pet Boarders Club

Animal Family Veterinary Care Center’s Frequent Boarders Club is a big hit with our clientele. After 30 days of boarding, your pet will receive a free day of boarding. It’s our way of saying thank you to our long-term friends.

Remember, by law any animal entering a boarding facility must have current immunizations administered by a licensed veterinarian. We require that your pet is currently on either Frontline or Revolution flea and tick treatments as well. We will administer a Capstar® rapid flea kill product at check-in to all pets.

Please Note: All pets must be current on required DHPPL, Rabies Bordatella, and Flea control. We also require a negative stool sample.

Our ongoing goal is to provide your pets with an enjoyable and happy experience. To learn more about our pet boarding kennel & services, please call us at (563) 391-9522.
